Thailand is a jewel for exotic wedding destinations. From deserted white sand beaches, to majestic mountains, tropical waterfalls, glittering temples and some of the world's best resorts, hotels and villas, Thailand is a wedding seekers paradise.
Marry Me Thailand guarantees whatever destination you have been dreaming of Thailand has the answer. The spectacular selection of balmy destinations offered through Marry Me Thailand includes:
Phuket
Rich in world class beaches, resorts, marinas, pampering spas, tropical waters and so much more, Phuket Island is one of Thailand's most 'sophisticated' tourist attractions and aptly known as 'The Pearl of the Andaman'. Situated in the South of Thailand and surrounded by a heavenly array of beaches and sparkling warm waters, Phuket also has the advantage of being host to a huge selection of hotels and resorts from boutique to bustling, beach side to cliff side. Plus there are also a vast number of villas where you can really find your paradise home complete with all you desire. Sea view, maid services, private pool…all of this can be yours in Phuket. Weddings in Phuket can be hosted at a private villa, luxury resort, at one of the many beaches or waterfalls, in a traditional Buddhist temple or even aboard one of the yachts charted from one of the hot marinas.
Phi Phi Islands
The Phi Phi Islands are part of Krabi province and just a short scenic boat ride or even helicopter cruise from Phuket. Dazzling coral, superb seafood and glorious surroundings that will take your breath away await on these picture postcard islands. The islands were catapulted into the eyes of the world following filming of Leonardo DiCaprio's film the beach in nearby Maya Bay. If you and your partner are looking for a magical wedding then Phi Phi could be the place you've been dreaming of.
Koh Lanta
Koh Lanta is also part of the enchanting Krabi province and can be easily reached via Krabi airport. This island could be considered more off the beaten track others which means there are plenty of little hideaway spots on the beaches which are certainly never full. There are a variety of Western spots for dinner and relaxing and a handful of exclusive hotels and villas. The island itself is only 6km wide yet still boasts about nine beaches. As with most of the areas located around Krabi, diving is an absolute must.
Krabi
A southern province residing at the shore of the Andaman Sea, Krabi is a magical place largely thanks to her dramatic limestone cliff formations that majestically jut proudly out of emerald waters. Krabi is home to Phi Phi, Koh Lanta and some small relatively undiscovered treasure hot spots. Krabi certainly makes an excellent place to explore on honeymoon. Sparkling waters, vivid underwater coral, powdery white sandy beaches, tropical jungle, seafood to die for, scenery that is quite simply out of this world and miles and miles of smiling friendly locals.
Khao Lak
Departing 80km north off Phuket Island lies Koh Lak in Phang Nga province. Boasting a beautiful coastline Koh Lak usually attracts diving and adventure enthusiasts as she is only a short journey to some of the world's best diving sites - located at the Similan islands. As a resort Khao Lak is relatively small but nevertheless she is well populated by a diverse range of accommodation options and makes a quieter alternative to some of the larger resorts.
Bangkok
Affectionately dubbed 'City of Angels', Bangkok is a hustling bustling metropolis with strong Asian roots. There is so much contrast within the city from traditional old China town where time really has stood still to the flashy skyscrapers which are engulfed by swish hotels and resorts including the very famous Mandarin Oriental, Four Seasons and the Peninsula. City wedding venues within Bangkok include opting for a chic classy affair at one of the notoriously stylish hotels or perhaps a traditional spiritual service at one of the many temples dotted around the city.
Hua Hin
Hua Hin is one of Thailand's discreet gems. Famous for being home to the royal family and a traditional fishing area, Hua Hin also adds long sandy beaches to her many charms. One of the oldest resorts in Thailand, Hua Hin is certainly more reserved than her other 'seaside' counterparts and arguably more traditionally Thai. Weddings in Hua Hin will almost certainly include some of the freshest seafood you will ever experience. As with most coastal areas in Thailand, beach weddings here are popular and can be carried out at one of the exclusive upmarket beach front resorts of which there is a very nice selection.
Koh Samet
Similar to Hua Hin, the exotic island of Koh Samet is popular with Bangkokians looking to escape the city due to her locale being only 220km southeast of Bangkok in the province of Rayong. Koh Samet has always been quite protected resulting in undiscovered beaches, unspoiled coral reefs and tranquil emerald waters. Koh Samet offers a peaceful paradise wedding destination for those seeking a more intimate wedding day.
Pattaya
Located about 165km southeast of Bangkok on the eastern seaboard, Pattaya is often considered a little more cosmopolitan than somewhere such as Phuket. There is certainly plenty of fun to be had in Pattaya both on and off the beach. There are as expected a wide choice of hotels and resorts to choose from. Pattaya is home to a 3km stretch of beach around which most of the activity is situated. Beach weddings are very popular at the vibrant destination.
Koh Samui
Koh Samui is a small sparkling island with a lovely laid back feel. There is a great mix of areas that can be lively and areas that can be absolute sanctuaries. As with Phuket there are an unlimited number of wedding venues from temples to beaches, hotels, villas or resorts. In addition Koh Samui is home to some of Thailand's most spectacular waterfalls. Koh Samui is located 700km south of Bangkok. If you're looking for a wedding featuring white sandy beaches, gorgeous lagoons and crystal clear water then Koh Samui has it all.
Koh Phangan
Located a short boat ride from neighbouring Koh Samui, Koh Phangan is famous for her full moon beach parties. Home to beautiful sunsets and lush tropical jungle, Koh Phangan is an island that has more to offer than what her reputation suggests. Imagine a glorious sunset or glittering full moon wedding at a deserted beach dramatically framed by lush green mountains. Koh Samui delivers one of natures finest natural settings to any wedding.
Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai weddings can be steeped in culture and tradition, mirroring the city herself. Thailand's northern 'gateway' city hosts some of the county's most beautiful festivals dating back many centuries. With a cooler climate a wedding in Chiang Mai will feature dreamy mountain landscapes and culture from a by-gone era. Temple weddings are also very popular in this almost sacred destination. Chiang Mai is also home to some of Thailand's most stylish resorts and villas that are surrounded by traditional rice paddies. A wedding in Chiang Mai is a truly 'authentically Thai' experience.
