Located about 165km southeast of Bangkok on the eastern seaboard, Pattaya is often considered a little more cosmopolitan than somewhere such as Phuket. There is certainly plenty of fun to be had in Pattaya both on and off the beach. There are, as expected, a wide choice of hotels and resorts to choose from.
